At the center of that conversation is author, culinarian, and ambassador for the Gulf Coast Region, the queen of Cajun and Creole cuisine, Chef Toya Boudy.

Chanel and Stan Parker hope to reintroduce the idea of community to the grocery shopping experience. In Summer 2026, the couple anticipates the opening of Nelly's Grocery & Wine, a curated "mini-box" grocer that will feature national, local, and Black-owned products under the guise of: "This is the way grocery shopping should feel."
