When New Orleans meets Savannah, you find two cities rooted in history, resilience, and rich culinary traditions. Both celebrate food as storytelling, community, and healing. At the center of that conversation is Chef Toya Boudy.
Named one of Louisiana's Best Chefs by the American Culinary Federation of New Orleans and crowned "Best Home Cook" by Hallmark Channel's Home & Family, Toya has built a career honoring New Orleans through every meal she creates. Most recently, during Juneteenth, she became one of the first women chefs to prepare a culinary experience at Louisiana's historic Whitney Plantation in Wallace. For Toya, a proud New Orleans native who often describes herself as the "Well of Wisdom" for her generation, the opportunity represented far more than cooking. It was an act of honoring ancestors, preserving culture, and feeding thecommunity.
